Peru Inclusion Minister Met France’s Delegate for Social and Solidarity Economy

Peru’s Development and Social Inclusion Minister Cayetana Aljovin held a working meeting with Odile Kirchner, Delegate for Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) of France.

Held at the Economy Ministry headquarters in Paris, the gathering featured government officials involved in the implementation of social and solidarity economy interventions, as well as an Agence Française de Développement (French Development Agency, AFD) representative.
The event addressed different themes, including French experience in inter-sectoral and intergovernmental articulation of public policies, French cooperation mechanisms and priorities, as well as the presentation of “La France s’engage” fund.
Other activities
As part of her working agenda, Aljovin will participate in the 9th International Economic Forum on Latin America and the Caribbean “Rethinking Globalization for Youth and Inclusive Development” at the invitation of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
The Peruvian minister will speak at Session 2 “Youth as Actors of Economic Change” after a keynote speech by Peru’s President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski.
Policy makers, young entrepreneurs and multinational companies operating in the region will gather for this session to discuss the main challenges faced by young Latin Americans to access the labor market and engage in entrepreneurial activities.
Prior to that, Aljovin will meet with Deputy Director at OECD Development Centre Federico Bonaglia.
